Health History Scholar is a project run for and by a community of UK medical historians and historians of health.
This website is a learning hub and a starting place for historians of medicine and health, offering guidance and resources for beginners. The content assumes users are new to historical research and writing. Historical research may require an entirely different, though equally stimulating, approach to the collection and interpretation of data from that of previous studies. The learning materials presented here are not intended to replace university-accredited study modules, but to precede or complement them. They are aimed specifically at health-care professionals and students embarking on historical research for the first time. Criticism, suggestions and new content are welcome.
